He joined us on October 1st, 2007 at 4:56pm, weighing in at 8 lbs. 8 oz. and measuring 21 inches in length. And he showed up with a full head of blonde hair. If we brush his hair a certain way, he looks like the world's smallest news anchor</a>. One of our nurses said he reminded her of Augustus Gloop</a> from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory</a>.

We're leaving the hospital this evening so the fun will continue at home. Fortunately we have Kim's parents nearby and willing to help out, along with my sister and several friends who've already gone through this.
